Tima’s practice focuses on disputes resolution in the UAE. Her experience includes advising international clients on civil and commercial disputes before the UAE Courts, with an interest in debt recovery and compensation claims.

Tima works with a variety of clients, from international organizations to individuals. She has assisted a multi-million-dollar corporation with the enforcement of a foreign judgment in the UAE and her in-depth knowledge of the local legal system and processes enables her to advise on the intricacies of ratification and annulment matters related to arbitral awards, as well as on cross-border jurisdictional matters and matters involving international service of process.

Her experience also involves advising on matters and dealing with governmental bodies such as the Police, Public Prosecution and Criminal Courts; including working on high profile white-collar criminal cases involving money laundering, fraud, bribery, and embezzlement of public funds.

Tima is fluent in French, English and Arabic and is an Alumni of Université Paris-Sorbonne, where she obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Law.
