Patric Mc Gonigal is a Partner and Head of Arbitration and Common Law Practice at Global Advocacy and Legal Counsel. Dual qualified as a barrister in Ireland and a solicitor in England and Wales, he advises on commercial, trade, energy, construction, fraud, shipping, and insurance disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Patric has practiced in London and across key arbitral centres in Asia, including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo, and now leads Global’s offshore disputes practice in the UAE. He has extensive experience in international arbitration under major institutional rules and advises on matters before DIAC, the DIFC Courts, and the ADGM Courts. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, he also sits on several international arbitral panels and is recognised for his cross-border strategic judgement and deep understanding of complex dispute resolution.
