Global Advocacy and Legal Counsel participated in the TL4 Middle East session held on 29 January, where our Partner, Hana Al Khatib, joined a distinguished panel discussion titled “Common Law vs. UAE Courts: Bridging the Divide.”

The session explored the UAE’s hybrid legal framework, examining the interaction between common law jurisdictions such as the DIFC and ADGM courts and the onshore civil law system. Discussions focused on key considerations including enforcement, jurisdictional strategy, and contractual structuring in cross-border matters.
